About the internship/job:
NHRC's Summer Internship Programme (SIP) 2024 offers a unique opportunity for university students to immerse themselves in human rights advocacy and research. Participants will engage in activities aimed at raising awareness and enhancing human rights literacy across India.
Eligibility:
LLB students: Completed 1st year, pursuing 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year course.
BA/BA LLB students: Completed 3 years or Semester VI of a 5-year course, pursuing 4th and 5th years.
LLM students: Currently pursuing an LLM course.
PG students: Enrolled in relevant PG programs (final year students preferred).
Regular course students from UGC-recognized universities.
Academic performance: Minimum 65% marks in Class XII and subsequent years.
Age limit: Not exceeding 28 years as of 01.05.2024.
Roles and responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis on human rights issues.
Assist in drafting reports and recommendations.
Participate in awareness campaigns and outreach programs.
Collaborate with NHRC staff on various projects.
Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
Duration:
June 10, 2024 (Monday) to July 5, 2024 (Friday).

Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the NHRC website before the deadline on 26th May 2024. Required documents include scanned attested mark-sheets, Statement of Purpose (SOP), and Letter of Recommendation (LOR) (Annexure I).
